  2. Review titled The worst!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Richard Smith - Posted on 28 February 2023

Three months of calls to sit on the phone for an hour to eventually be told they don’t have any appointments left, they only have one doctor on. I’ve heard the same story over and over again. I have tried to call before 8 o’clock, on 8 o’clock, after 8 o’clock, and it makes no difference I get the same engaged tone, then cut off, and after multiple times of trying eventually I get hold music and after about 20 minutes placed in a queue where I wait for another 20 minutes just to be told I can’t speak to a doctor. It has been this way for years, however, in the last 3 to 4 months, my health has deteriorated and I now actually require a doctor, but I can’t get one.

  3. Review titled I have received really excellent health care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by CHRIS H. - Posted on 17 February 2023

I personally have good care from Aylesford medical centre. The team have performed above average for my wife and I. From the reception to the doctor to the nurses and the practice manager, all reacting fast to deal with my wife's thrombosis And my urgent referrals, as I am not allowed to mention names. I cannot say who, but thanks for your interaction in my urgent requirements. I was not aware my wife had a deep vein thrombosis. This was picked up by the blood test lady. We were straight off to hospital and the resulting follow up care expediated rapidly. The locum doctor too found I needed rapid attention and this was also dealt with speed. My experience's have only been good. I see the practise is changing yet again, I will keep my fingers crossed for the doctor who is still there twice a week. to stay, as he is a really engaging professional that I trust. So thank you team, good luck sailing these choppy waters.

  6. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Katy - Posted on 16 January 2023

Due a contraception review and the gp asked me to make an appointment. Cannot make an appointment in the future but instead told to ring daily at 8am for an appointment that day. I don't want an emergency appointment I want a routine appointment. The gp app is a waste of time never any slots available. Who has the time to stay on hold behind ten people every day at 8am to be told all the slots have gone for the day. So I won't be given a prescription for contraception until I see a doctor but cannot get an appointment. Make it make sense. Appalling service, never heard of not being able to make an appointment for in a couple of weeks. I will be moving as its getting worse. Avoid avoid avoid

  7. Review titled Shocking!

Rated 1 star out of 5

You can never get an appointment. You have to ring up in the morning to be placed on a telephone triage list, but that gets fully booked about 15 minutes after the phone lines open. And even if you’ve been on hold the whole time, you are told to try again the next day or fill out an E consult form. I have recently filled one out for my 2 year old child and have to wait 4 days for a phone call back! Reception staff are rude and just repeat themselves until you give up trying. When you eventually get to see a Doctor they are, on the whole, helpful. Avoid this surgery at all costs. Atrocious service.

  8. Review titled Woeful care from this surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 December 2022

Went to have COVID booster in Maidstone last month, whilst there I was offered blood pressure test. The results were deemed "dangerous" by the medical staff (207 over something). They immediately contacted the surgery requesting an urgent appt with a GP. This was refused point blank. The medical staff member in Maidstone said he was "shocked and staggered" that a refusal to a fellow medical person from this practice was delivered in such a way. He had never been spoken to in such a condescending and unhelpful way by someone from a GP surgery before. Absolutely disgusting response by this Practice. They should be ashamed.

  9. Review titled Post takeover troubles

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 September 2022

Having been recently take over by some random Medway body, and all the previous doctors “retiring”….. absolutely disgusting service is now delivered. Doctors no longer see you face to face, and ridiculously it would seem that telephone appoints are all hosted out of a Medway clinic. The result is receptionists at the Aylesford clinic who can’t directly contact doctors. By the way, if you do manage to negotiate a telephone “consultation”, and decide a time…….. they call you hours early (if in the afternoon) claiming “they don’t supported timed appointments”, just am or pm. Not really much use…… if you work for a living. Disgusting really, and a hot sad

  10. Review titled No support

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 June 2022

After suffering with a miscarriage, I asked on 3 multiple days to speak with a GP at Aylesford as I was physically unwell and wanted advice. The doctor called and left a message to say someone would call me shortly. After 4 hours nothing so I rang reception who said I would get a further call. They called and let it ring once then hang up. I didnt get a moment to pick up my phone before they rang off. I rang reception again after waiting on hold for 15 mins for them to say they would ask them to call again. I didnt get a call back. I submitted another request for an appointment and by 2pm the next day still nothing. I rang reception who had no idea what this request was and I was not on any list to be called today. I had to ask firmly for help at this point, I was anxious and upset as all I wanted was support. Very disappointed still not spoken to a GP as yet.
