    I have been at this practice for over 30 years. Never had any issues. Since being taken over, I'm hassled about making appointments, even called on a Sunday! Last appointment, felt like they were trying to sell me items. Couldn't even count my teeth correctly, (I have 2 teeth missing that never grew) and then told me I wouldn't get a clean as part of my check up as the equipment was in the cleaner so was told I would have to book a Hygenist appointment now for a clean (which would be Private so cost a lot more). Again, trying to upsell. I've always had my teeth cleaned as part of a check up. So basically I got my teeth counted for the cost of a check up. Won't be returning and neither will my family.

    Having successfully completed treatment with a NHS root canal specialist, I made an appointment to return to this practice to have the tooth crowned. I later received a phone call to reschedule the appointment. When I arrived i was told the I now couldn’t be seen by the dentist as they didn’t realise it was for a crown (I had discussed this on the phone when I booked and all records from the root treatment had been emailed to them). I was told that if I kept this appointment I’d have to pay twice?? I was offered another appointment for the next Thursday or the only other alternative was November (over a months time)?? I was told that they don’t check patients notes when rebooking appointments therefore assumed I was coming for a check up??

    I do not recommend this practice. The dentist cannot fulfil the basic of cleaning. I had explained before being examined my issue of specific build up. After being examined I had asked if my issue was resolved to which the dentist confirmed. When I had checked my teeth in the mirror at reception the build up was still there and clearly my teeth were not cleaned properly. I had then asked the receptionist to be seen again before making payment. I was seen again and only then the specific build up was removed. A half-hearted job.
