    I am afraid my experience of the dentist at this practice mirrors that below. Very poor indeed and unprofessional. Rude, rushed and does not engage with patients or their concerns properly.

    I saw a dentist recently as an emergency appointment who was cold, rude and made me feel bad for being there. The appointment felt rushed and it felt like they wished they didn't have me in their chair, as if they couldn't wait to be rid of me. For some this is unpleasant but not a huge deal and maybe they were just having a bad day. But as a patient with PTSD caused by previous medical treatment, their approach to my care that day triggered flashbacks, nightmares and tearfulness that affected me for nearly a week afterwards. Moving forwards I now risk these symptoms plus things like panic attacks when returning to the practice. It's a shame because usually I see someone else and they have always been polite and friendly and I've always felt at ease with them (as much as possible at a dentist!). I will stay at the practice because there is nowhere else to go but I will do my best not to be treated by this member of staff again.

    I was very grateful to be offered a cancellation as I urgently needed treatment. Both the dentist and I were hoping that the tooth could be saved however on the day I had to have an extraction. Not a pleasant experience but expertly handled and a week later I have had no problems. I would especially like to mention the kind your nurse who compassionately put her hand on my arm which I really did find comforting. Thank you once again to a wonderful team. Joyce Fay.
