I went for my check up on Wednesday & was told I needed a scale & polish because I had some gum disease. I would have to book in with the hygienist at a cost of £60 every 3 months. The band 1 nhs charge includes a scale & polish if clinical need eg gum disease. What is going on here? “ Band 1: £25.80 Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish (if clinically needed), and planning for further treatment“

Kind friendly professional service given over many months of treatment. Absolutely fantastic. I would not go anywhere else!

I have been a patient here for over 20 years. It that time the overall patient experience has been somewhat hit and miss although the dentistry has always been good. COVID clearly messed things up with many staff changes leading to uncertainty as to who you would see and struggling to get appointments. However, my recent experience has been good so it looks like things are getting back on track. I had to have a crown fitted. It was done professionally by all involved and the team were profession and courteous throughout. Reception staff were also great at keeping me informed when an appointment had to change due to staff sickness.
