  1. Review titled A brilliant Visit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have huge anxiety about seeing the dentist and work myself up above and beyond before sitting in the chair. The male dentist is one of the nicest dentists I have seen. He put my mind at ease as best as he could, the nurses were there if I needed anything and throughout my check up, he and his nurse, were asking if I was okay as they could see I was scared. After the appointment, the dentist and the nurse explained next steps thoroughly and if I had any issues, to let them know. My questions were answered in detail and was happy to have such a clean mouth after so long not seeing a dentist at this practice. Highly recommend the dentist and the nurses at the practice as well as the reception team, who were also very reassuring and doing their best to put me at ease. Will definitely be seeing this dentist again :-)

  2. Review titled Great emotional intelligence

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Bad experience here last year but their new dentist certainly helps to redeem the practice. I have cancer & dentistry is very important. The dentist was empathic and dealt with issues I had quickly and with understanding. Felt cared for and happy as a result.

  3. Review titled Very disappointed!!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

During my visit to the dental practice today, my 4.5-year-old daughter was exceptionally anxious. Initially, the dentist seemed accommodating, allowing her to sit on my lap and attempting to comfort her verbally. However, his subsequent comments were less than reassuring, leaving me profoundly unsettled. It's crucial for professionals to consider the impact of their words on young children, especially in vulnerable situations like visiting the dentist. Instead of questioning a child's behavior, it's important to acknowledge their anxiety and offer support, particularly considering the disruptions caused by Covid-19 and the challenges in establishing a consistent dental care routine. I must commend the receptionists and dental nurses for their lovely, friendly, and sympathetic demeanor during our visit. Thank you for your kindness!

  4. Review titled Upsetting visit :(

Rated 1 star out of 5

During my recent visit to the dental practice, my 4 year-old daughter experienced significant anxiety. Although the dentist initially attempted to comfort her verbally and allowed her to sit on my lap, I found subsequent comments to be less reassuring. This left me unsettled, as empathy and understanding are crucial in such situations. As a parent, it's important for professionals to consider the impact of their words on young children, particularly during vulnerable moments like dental visits. It's my hope that future interactions with patients, especially young ones, are approached with greater sensitivity and understanding. On a positive note, I must commend the receptionists and dental nurses for their exceptional kindness and support during our visit. Their empathy made a significant difference for both my daughter and me.

  6. Review titled No NHS capacity

Rated 1 star out of 5

4 x cancelled appts due to staff shortages?!? My thoughts are that they only want private patients, which is ok if they were honest enough to tell the truth to patients. Not fit to be on the NHS website.

Appointments continually cancelled. Hardly ever answer telephone. No help with Emergency Appointment. Advised that no practice will now take NHS clients.

  8. Review titled Amazing staff, trying to do their best!!

Rated 4 stars out of 5

    by Paige E. - Posted on 07 February 2023

Been in for several treatments over the last six months or so due to a severe issue. Reception staff are friendly and even offered to watch my children whilst having my treatment due to childcare issues! They are easy to talk to if you have questions and just all around supportive! Dentist and assistants I had were lovely! Made sure I was at ease throughout my procedures and we're again easy to talk to for any concerns or questions, I would highly recommend them! The only issue is Staffing, not the staff already there, it's a management issue, yes many appointments are getting cancelled at the moment but only because of staff leaving, they are trying their best to get replacement staff and fit emergencies and important services in to what little slots they have! I'm sure once they have adequate staff that improvements in cancellation will be seen.

  9. Review titled Staff were reassuring.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

When I attended the practice for an emergency, although I had to wait, the girls on the desk were very helpful and reassured me that I would be seen as I was in so much pain. I have a phobia of dentists. When I was called through, the dental nurse and dentist were amazing. They put me at ease and treated me as necessary. They explained to me what I needed to do after that and to book in for an routine appointment. The girls advised they were short on dentists so my routine appointment was going to be sometime in April, but I was assured that if I had any issues before, I could call them and they would help. All of the staff at the practice were really kind.

  10. Review titled Not so great, cancelled appointments x4 in four months

Rated 2 stars out of 5

New NHS family of 4 Not happy. Adults appointments cancelled three times now, March 2023 is the soonest time, I am more worried for my two son’s health for their teeth, they also have had all their planned appointments cancelled. One was cancelled at 16:30 via text the night before so I called them and no answer baring in mind they close at 5:30! That are also very hard to speak to!!!. They have a duty of care, we pay for this service yet all dentists have failed us. Just to get my son’s seen is all I ask for
