  1. Review titled Refused an emergency appointment for 2 yr old

Rated 1 star out of 5

Despite telling reception I was after an emergency appointment for my 2 year old who had fallen and been advised by A and E to see a dentist also. We were denied an appointment because he hasn't had his first appointment here. So we were offered a normal appointment 3 days later to be treated like a normal patient even though it's an emergency. I've managed to get him seen elsewhere by a surgery we are not even registered to ! Not impressed at all with this surgery!

Extremely friendly and helpful practice. The Reception staff in particular always go out of their way to assist patients.

  3. Review titled Gentle and Supportive

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have had many treatments over the years and always been forewarned of the following procedures, with kindness. Even during Covid I was able to get antibiotics, not always the same day, but within 24 hours. The dental nurses are wonderful, if you are nervous they will settle you down gently, you will not be rushed, even when their fingers are being tortured. The dentists listen carefully about your concerns and take time, with your approval, to proceed treatment. (I have noticed dentists have small slim fingers.) I have just completed the long journey of implants, under Thanet House umbrella, not just a Doctor, an engineer!! Yes, I paid privately, the same with hygienist appointments. Whether I'm visiting NHS or Private all the staff are patient, calm and considerate and they get to know their clients. Appointments are hard to get, I treasure my dentist!! Nothing, nuffink worse than toothache. I'd been to a few surgeries over the years and I totally trust them with my mouth.
