Was given a warm welcome both by reception and hygenist. Hygenist asked about my cleaning routine and then explained what she was going to do at this appointment. Process carried out perfectly with no issues. Before leaving I was given guidance regarding buying an additional small brush for the rear of my bottom teeth and to use mouthwash at lunchtime rather than after morning brushing.

Such a relief in the current times of dentistry deserts to find a friendly, efficient and caring NHS practice. I had a nagging ache, not too acute, but wouldn't go away. It was several weeks before my regular check-up was due, so I phoned a bit tentatively and was given a next-day appointment, where a major problem that was only going to get much worse was identified, and I'm now booked in for a course of specialist treatment. I'm so very grateful this was found early enough to treat - potentially, I could have lost two teeth.

I arrived at the dental surgery for my six month check up to be greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist. After a short wait I was called in to see my dentist. After a thorough check of my teeth, the dentist took his time (and with great patience!) discussed a course of treatment with me. The dentists kind and caring manner really did put me at ease. I had always been nervous of visiting dentists until I registered with the Temple Street Dental Practice.

I had an emergency appointment, the practice fitted me in the same day. The dental surgeon took time listening to my description of the pain I was having. She made a good investigation, X-rays, etc. she thought it may be receding gums and pockets being the problem, this was cleaned and scraped in the area. I was recommended to book back in for the hygienist, which I did. I felt I had been looked after well. The problem is still there, I am going back next week to investigate more if I doesn’t ease up in the next few days.

For years i would not go to the dentist, as i hated the thought of the drill etc, i first visited this dentist about 7 years ago, the dentist put me at ease as soon as i walked through the door, ii have attended regularly ever since

Only had a check up this time but my dentist is great. Always thorough and gives good advice. Can’t fault him. The reception team were very efficient and pleasant.
