Visited the practice for the first time today and what a lovely experience I had,to start both receptionist are lovely very pleasant and helpful. I got to see a lady dentist can’t remember her name but she was lovely,she explained everything I needed to know and put my Mind at ease. The dental nurse that was with her was also lovely I can honestly say that Swinton dental practice are a good dentist and I’m glad that I registered with them well done 👏

I tried to get an appointment for extreme pain to be told I can have a private out of hours appointment, I am a patient at this practice and to tell me I can be seen but only privately I think is an utter disgrace. I do also pay for my nhs treatment. We are in a cost of living crisis and deserve at the very least basic care. I was given no advice to tide me over either. What has happened to this practice

Thank you for your feedback. I am shocked to hear that you were only offered a private evening appointment, as we provide all our registered patients appointments on level of need. It also does make a difference what time you call for an emergency appointment. Receptionist was very rude. Cut me off while i was explaining my reasons for calling with "yeah yeah I know all about it". If you dislike your job that much then leave. Appalling customer service.

After contacting the practice was greeted on the phone with caring thoughtfulness of my concerns re treatment for my husband,We are NHS patients and are grateful to stiĺ have this practice after over 40 years . They are all from the reception to the dentist very professional which nervous patients would feel OK. Our new dentist ( as are regular dentist retired) we found patient respected our wishes and explained everything as the treatment went on .Highly recommended and we travel back 50miles each way to still keep this practice when we retired.
