I spoke to a very charming receptionist this morning (4th January 2024) enquiring about becoming a new NHS patient. She apologetically told me they are not taking on new NHS patients as they already have 100's on their waiting list. A new dentist is due to join the practice later this year.

My dentist recommended me to have all my silver fillings replaced, I was very nervous however after my first appointment I was put at ease and after my full treatment plan I was very happy with the outcome and has helped my confidence with my smile. Can't wait to get the rest of my dental plan underway.

We have been with this practice for 20 years and despite a life long fear of dentists I have never been uncomfortable here. This last visit was for the extraction of two roots and the whole experience was bearable. Thank you!

Could someone from the surgery please respond?. I looked on The NHS website, Trying to find a dentist that is taking on new NHS patients & according to the NHS site, You are currently taking on new NHS patients of all ages. I Therefore don't understand the comment 'If you can afford it here'?. Whilst I understand that some dentists do have a mixture of private and NHS patients, Could someone please clarify if the NHS site is correct please and if you are taking on New NHS patients of all ages as it states please. Many Thanks in advance.

The receptionists are warm, helpful, and always pick up the phone; the practice manager is also professional and helpful. One of the dentists I've been seeing there (I'm not allowed to say which) is highly competent, professional, and patient despite the fear I had recently with a procedure. I can't say enough good things about them, this is a quality, well run practice. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend.
