   Sent email on 9th June requesting appointment. They Email me and said to call them. When i called they told me there was a waiting list of 3000 people. So i said was is that a 10 or 20 year wait, or perhaps a lifetime? Ridiculous indeed.

   Dear Anonymous We completely agree that it is so difficult to access NHS dental treatment in the Scunthorpe area and appreciate your frustration. This is why, however, we manage our waiting list and prioritise patient with high needs and children and then take patients from the list when appointments become available. We are unable to confirm when more availability will arise as we only have two full time and one part time NHS dentists at our practice. I would recommend leaving your name on our list and also adding it to the other practices in the area, who are also managing their practice lists in a similar manner, in order that you increase your chances of being available when an appointment becomes free.
