Firstly waited 2 weeks for an appointment, then at appointment it seemed very rushed, I was referred don’t think the dentist was capable in doing my treatment he said I needed. Was surprised I have heard good things but I wouldn’t recommend

Dear Anonymous I am sorry you felt that your appointment was rushed. I wish to explain to you the process involved as to why the practice makes a referral. Every tooth is assessed as to whether or not the treatment ( in this case - an extraction ) can be completed successfully at the practice. We always into account the safety of our patients. In this case , the tooth on the lower left hand side was found to have extensive caries affecting the cheek side of the tooth. Since the decay was below the gum-line and access was difficult , a decision was made to refer you to a clinic we often use for difficult extractions. The clinic has an excellent reputation. Patients have always understood as to why a referral was been made and maybe on this occasion I did not fully explain myself. For this I am sorry. I have made a referral to two clinics ( as requested ). I sincerely hope the procedure goes well.

I have been visiting this practice for approximately ten years and in that time my assessment of their service has never fallen below excellent. The practice is both friendly and professional. Treatments are sensitively administered and accompanied by exoteric explanations. I have no reservation in recommending this practice. I wish them well in their endeavours.
