Had a tooth break and attended via the emergency appointment. Was seen straight away, the staff were caring and the work was done perfectly, no pain and would recommend

Was seen here for an emergency appointment and ended up needing an extraction. The dentist was amazing, she explained everything, talked me through every process and put me at ease. Thank you for being so kind and caring an absolute credit to your profession.

I was a really nervous patient in a lot of pain, everyone really looked after me and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. So grateful that could get same day appointment through emergancy line! Thank you so much again to everyone

Excellent service staffed by people who take a holistic approach to dental health. The staff genuinely care about you & not only about your dental health. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for outstanding care Ringway dental.

The receptionist, nurse and last-minute-replacement-dentist were all amazing and so kind when I brought in a refugee child and her mother. The child has been in pain for months and we could not find a dentist to treat her. The Ringway Clinic staff filled the tooth and the relief the child felt was almost immediate. Thank you so much for your help and kindness.

Our family of 4 have used this Dentist since it opened in 2010 - all was good until service stopped almost completely in 2020 (Covid). Struggled to get even a check up since then "whilst they cleared backlog". 14 year old son referred by NHS orthodontist to have teeth scaled and polished before brace being fitted. When trying to make the appointment, told that they were no longer doing "normal" NHS treatments - only emergency appts for severe pain. Have been told that we need to source other dentists now, obviously will have to be private as no NHS dentists taking on new patients. Only communication of this is supposedly on website (yet to locate) as no other communication (letter/text/phone call) been sent to existing patients. Absolutely no courtesy whatsoever. Disgusting treatment

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry that you are unhappy to have not been offered an appointment at Ringway Dental Clinic. Under NHS Regulations, patients have not been registered with an NHS dental practice since 2006. As a result of new commissioning arrangements, Ringway have reduced capacity to provide routine care to patients. As a result we are not currently able to offer check-up appointments but are continuing to offer care to those experiencing dental problems. If you contact the Lancashire Dental Helpline on 0300 1234 010 they will advise you of which practices currently have spaces for NHS patients.

I went to ringway as an emergency the receptionist where lovely and the dental nurse she was lovely and caring. The Dentist however was not friendly and really uncaring. He made it feel like he was being inconvenienced. He did prescribe antibiotics then said you need to find yourself a dentist now to do necessary work. If I had a dentist I wouldn't of been going there 1st thing as an emergency. When I told him I had no dentist he just tutted to himself. Made very little conversation to relax a Nervous patient he just made my anxiety worse. Being told to find a Non existing NHS dentist just adds insult to injury. I know not all the dentists will be as uncaring but I think he needs to re-think his profession

Tried to make an appointment for my son for his checkup only to be told that all the patients have been struck off there lists and that they didn’t have to notify us of this and when challenged about this they put the phone down

The dentist and dental nurse put me at ease as I am a very nervous patient. This was an emergency appointment and I had a great experience. I would definately recommend this practice. I had a temporary filling put in and it was painless and quick, despite hating needles. 5* service. The receptionist was lovely too.

Emergency appointment and I have a huge fear of dental treatment. The dentist and the dental nurse were so patient and calming, I've forgotten her name, but she was so unpushy giving me options every step of the way never felt forced into anything. So grateful for people like this who make scary experiences better for their patients.
