I was referred to this Dentist for a tooth extraction assessment as I’m an extremely nervous patient and need to be IV sedated. I was basically told I was too fat for treatment as I could go into respiratory failure and they don’t have the equipment to stop me dying. I’m not a small lady but I’m also not massive and found this extremely upsetting. He said he would refer me to a hospital but that it would be extremely unlikely they would do it as they don’t see the point in sedating someone for a singular tooth. For someone who is terrified of dentists this is not helpful in anyway. The dentist didn’t seem to know any of my concerns or details of what I was there for and did not make me feel at ease at all.

Everyone was polite, helpful, and understanding. The dentist and his assistant were lovely, both explained everything brilliantly.

Dental nurse was very helpful and reassuring, dentist himself was also awesome had my wisdom tooth removed it was done so quick and professionally I was shocked

My experience with the dentist was fine. The only problem I had was with the reception staff who were talking, laughing and swearing very loudly with each other. Very unprofessional.

Called 45mins before appointment to confirm, was not made aware of any delays. When I arrived I was told there was a delay. Waited just short of 20mins over my appointment time. During the appointment, the x ray for the first side of the mouth was fine. The other side, after trying there was difficulty due to both the size of the equipment and limited range of motion due to my old age. Despite trying, I explained my discomfort and pain on this side. The assistant tried to convince and pressure me to do it again anyway. I reluctantly tried again. After experiencing pain for the second time, only then it was left. This extra pain was completely avoidable. Unprofessional and lack of empathy.

The hygienist was very good at her job and made me feel comfortable throughout. My gum disease has improved following the advice from my last appointment.

My dentist is very professional and extremely efficient. I have anxiety when I attend the dentist but my visit is always pleasant due to the quality of care my dentist offers.
