Continuously calling just to get cut off is very annoying after waiting to make my way up the queue this is the biggest letdown for this dentist

This practice is great on my levels the reception is welcoming and polite and the dentist was absolutely amazing dr shahad was professional , kind and understanding she listened to me and gave me a smile I can be happy with she was a breath of fresh air! Thank you everyone there

After reading on this website that Portland family dental centre were taking on NHS patients I rang today and was told they are not taking on NHS patients.

This dentist practice has the rudest receptionists I’ve ever had the misprivilege of speaking to. Frequently calls to cancel appointments, then when I try to re-book am told that I am no longer registered due to not attending appointments. Can’t help but think they only want private patients. Avoid.

This practice is made fantastic by the lovely reception team.Yes, the dentist is excellent, kind, and reassuring as his nurse, but the ladies on reception are lovely, The way they cope, with the phone, the constant stream of patients and still have time for a chat. It's like visiting old friends, especially the lady near the window , although they're all fantastic . Thank you to everyone of you. I hope I don't have to see you too soon!!

I had a tooth out at Portland Road dentist with the dentist upstairs. I barely felt the needle and didn’t even realise the tooth was out. It was all so quick. A gentle giant and a truly amazing experience. It’s shame they not taking on any more NHS patients as I’m raving on about him to my family. Thank you for being so patient with me. I know I’m an anxious perskn. And thank you to the lovely ladies on reception. Especially the blonde lady for helping me after explaining to her how anxious I am. I can now go on my holiday and not worry about toothache.

Very helpful and friendly staff, from entering reception, to leaving after treatment. My dentist is always welcoming and as I’m slightly nervous, he is very reassuring. Nothing is rushed and my treatment has always been exceptional. Certainly no complaints from me. Very professional from start to finish. My daughter and my 2 grandchildren, have attended this practice regularly and is equally very happy. Many thanks.

Had a good experience at this dentist from the moment I arrived. Spoke to the lady on reception who was so polite and helpful and helped me with things I needed to fill in as my eyes aren’t the best anymore! Saw a lady dentist as needed urgent treatment and she was very professional. I’d recommend this dentist to everyone

Having been to this dentist over many years,and being a nervous paintent ,I am absolutely over the moon with the how my dentist has made me feel at ease and done amazing job with my new dentures ,I couldn't recommend any one better ,very professional in every thing they have done ,now I can smile now thank you

I have been a patient at Portland Road Dental Centre for over 15 years and have always received caring & professional treatment from all members of their staff, the practice has expanded over the years. Recently the premises have undergone a major modernisation which has resulted in a major improvements to the practice and big improvements for the patients. New consulting rooms have been constructed to a very high standard with modern equipment being installed, the level of care to the patient has always been of paramount importance to the management of the practice. Through the recent Covid epidemic the importance of patient care was clear to see, the level of precautions taken by all staff members was very re-assuring with the dentist wearing full ppe. I would fully recommend this practice to all.
