I tried to register as a new patient. When I called I was told this practice is not accepting new NHS patients. Well unless you want to wait 18 months. They are using the NHS website to get people to call in and then try an upsell to them to become a private patient.

Following my retiring to Southbourne from Hertfordshire it had been some time since I visited a dentist and I was delighted to find MyDentist at Tuckton. They have a warm, friendly and welcoming Reception staff who arranged a check-up for me. My particular dentist was kind, courteous and extremely gentle. She prepared an immediate treatment plan for me which clearly included all charges along with longer term recommendations. I was impressed with their reasonable charges (non NHS) and would wholeheartedly reccomend them to anyone looking for Dental Care.

I had my initial consultation in October 2022 due to having two impacted wisdom teeth causing extreme pain to the point where I can’t eat solid foods or drink warm drinks. I had an x-ray the following day and delivered it straight after, where I expected a phone call within the next few days. Almost 2 months later and I haven’t heard anything from my dentist. I have tried phoning but the receptionists don’t seem to be able to help as they have said they have left a reminded to my dentist and that’s all the could do. I can’t believe I have been left in this condition for this long with what seems like no care.

I visited My Dentist at Tuckton today for an extraction. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I am extremely pleased with my new dentist. She explained everything she was going to do to me. as she went along. I was very impressed when she started to take my tooth out she asked me if I wanted a rest in between. I cannot speak highly enough of her I wish I could have I met her sooner I was even shown my x-rays of my tooth very impressive When I have to go again I will not be so nervous. Once again many thanks to my dentist at Tuckton Dental Surgery

I didn’t expect to have such lovely service from the MyDentist team at Tuckton Road. My dentist was very professional and informative. The Reception team where very helpful too.

My experience of my dentist was very positive - from the cheerful reminder phone call beforehand to the dentist and dental nurse themselves. The latter were both kind and caring and very good with the children

I come here because my dentist and her nurse is so skilled, caring, and friendly and professional. I have always been scared to go to the dentist but I trust the one I see here completely and have never been so comfortable before. Even though I have moved across town I travel back just to see her.
