   I had a tooth cave in at the start of December. With Christmas day fast approaching I tried to find a dental practice that could fix this tooth so I wouldn't have to fear lunch on christmas day. As there was no pain I wanted to avoid going to a dental practice with an "emergency" however was told by most I would not be seen until February (2 months later). Mydentist was able to see to me the same week for an initial check up which was c. £40 - what I learned about my teeth was very valuable and worth every penny. I returned just a few days later to proceed with a hygiene clean prior to fixing the problem tooth. I was also advised to have 2 small holes filled before they got worse but was not pressured into having these done and it was no issue when I declined (I explained, if not urgent I would prefer to see if I could sign up to a practice via the NHS and they understood). As a non-NHS patient, the cost for the clean was about £48 and for my cracked tooth the filling was £150 I believe (slightly more expensive due to size of the filling and 2 sides required). Compared to other private practices I looked at, and having had a few friends undergo similar work recently, these prices seemed much better value by comparison. I am pleased with the work they carried out, my tooth looks and feels great and the staff were very helpful throughout. Would recommend.
