Not taking on new NHS patients as advertised on here. Called up numerous times in the last few years to be fobbed off and told they’re only doing emergency appointments. Called today to try and book an appointment, to be told I am no longer a patient. I was never informed I was no longer a patient. I asked to be registered again as an NHS patient but they said they cannot, but can if I was private. But then couldn’t get me in for a month! Also my husband has had a lot of trouble with treatment here, snapped a tooth in his head and sent him on his way in agony with no pain relief, had to go back for a root canal weeks later and is still in pain, his tooth was fine and pain free before they touched it. Reception staff are rude and unhelpful.

I was really nervous before and during my appointment but the dentist and the assistant were absolutely lovely, friendly and a good laugh and made me feel (relatively!) at ease. Thank you

I'm always a little nervous of trips to the dentist but the dentist and assistant were really kind with me and brilliant with my daughter for her first visit. The practice is very clean. Also the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

I attended to have a filling replaced after I lost a bit of it. In my consultation/check up appointment prior I expressed concerns about a different tooth, my dentist took thorough x-rays of both the tooth with the filling and the tooth I raised a concern about, she then literally showed me how to use the small brushes that go between your teeth to clean and explained the benefits and the problem it would help my tooth with. I've never had a dentist take the time to show me something like that and as simple as it is, it has made an amazing difference to the tooth I was concerned about. The level of care and attentiveness she showed me throughout the first appointment was amazing. I didn't feel like just another patient, like I have with previous dentists. In my appointment to replace the filling she showed the same fantastic level of care! I am scared of needles so when she needed to inject the numbing I asked her to count down from three, previously I have felt childish asking this and usually would be answered with a slightly patronising comment about how it wouldn't be that bad, but she was so sweet about it. She did count down for me and was so gentle with the injection I hardly felt it at all - this alone blew my mind because for me dentist injections have always been the worst but I felt like she took her time and was really respectful of how I felt. Then, as if it couldn't get any better she managed to give my teeth a clean. I've always had sensitive teeth and in my 28 years of visiting the dentist no dentist was ever been able to clean my teeth as the first moment I flinched they've given up the attempt, but today I experienced excellent attentiveness to my reactions, a caring perseverance and gentleness that meant she was able to complete it. My teeth feel amazing! Throughout the entire process of numbing, cleaning and replacing the filling she checked I was doing okay, gave me chance to raise my hand to alert her of any discomfort so she could adjust what she was doing and talked me through each step. Thank you so much for such a positive experience, and I hope you will pass on my feedback so she knows what an amazing job she is doing.

I have had traumatic dental experience in the past so was wary to have my tooth removed but dentist was gentle , understanding and explained everything. Unfortunately, as most services at the moment the most difficult part is actually getting a call through and an appointment but I was very lucky to get an emergency appointment. I would recommend the practice for its cleanliness and professional standards and kindness.
