    Years ago I had a really bad experience , it left me with bad anxiety re dentists. 7-8 years back I registered with My Dentist Liverpool Rd Newcastle and couldn't be happier. The receptionists are warm and friendly; you now get a telephone call the day before to confirm your apt . The waiting room, clean and calming. The treatment room the same . The Dentist and nurse welcoming and efficient too . ... I'd highly recommend them .

    I recently attended my routine examination at the Practice and the service was at its usual high standard. I received a call the day before my appointment, to check I was still attending, and had a pleasant greeting when I entered the building. I find it amazing how the dentists remember you even though they have lots of patients through the door every day. Would always recommend this Practice to anyone!

    I have visited this dentist for over 10 years through name changes. Never had any issues with them until recent. I appreciate the trying times of Covid but this is as of now. However was very disappointed with my service today. A family of three people booking appointments 6 months in advance is a logistical nightmare when they cancel at last minute due to holidays although I am not against holidays I am disappointed when it seems to fall on our appointments then when you try to rearrange appointments for the Third time to be told they are fully booked up for another two months and that it’s my fault I won’t take my child out of school? The practice manager also pointed out I also cancelled an appointment in 2018??… I am not sure the need for this? When I asked if she understood my frustration she advised I can go elsewhere at no point an apology or a reasonable explanation. I was also told they are getting rid of NHS patients as it’s too troublesome? Which is disappointing.

    I have been with this practice for more than 20 years and have seen many dentists. They always employ staff who are professional but who are friendly and welcoming too. It is a pleasure to have a check up.

    I had to have tooth removed which was terrifying. I've been using the surgery for years and thankfully with the care always being so good from the staff to the Dentist I wasn't as scared as I would've been. I cant thank my Dentist enough though. She is top drawer in every department. From her relaxed and friendly manner to the quality of the work she does. Anything that the world can send to make her life better wouldn't be enough. I'm grateful all of this was there. Its horrible thinking of people not being able to access this level of care when I've been so lucky.

    Attended my appointment with 1 broken tooth to be told I would need 4 teeth out, but first I needed to pay privately to have them cleaned? So now im left in agony with my broken tooth, because I can't afford private treatment, if I could afford private I wouldn't need an NHS dentist would I!

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, as this practice is already at maximum capacity for NHS patients, they are currently unable to offer you an NHS place. In some practices where we have no NHS appointment capacity, we do have alternative private options for patients to access dentistry, outside of the practices NHS contractual obligations.     I was recommended to this Practice by a member of their staff as she knew I had a problem and that I didn't have a dentist. Managed to get in for an appointment and have no words to express my relief at being able to have my tooth extracted at the same appointment. Lovely welcome from the reception team and the dentist and his nurse were brilliant! Thank you.
