    Got a letter to say your child dental care is changing and that they only have private care available and they are doing dental plans called to ask to go over to an nhs dentist at the practice and was told that i can try and call back in August and see if they have found a new one but considering they have been looking for 3 years they properly wont find one. Would be different if they dental plans were at a good value for the service you get but when looking at the cost seems you pay more monthly then if you paid the cost separately. Not a single other nhs dentist in the area.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, as this practice is already at maximum capacity for NHS patients, they are currently unable to offer you an NHS place. In some practices where we have no NHS appointment capacity, we do have alternative private options for patients to access dentistry, outside of the practices NHS contractual obligations.     Over the past few months I have been receiving treatment from the dentist on the second floor my treatment consisted of removing a number of broken teeth and this was exemplary. Then started the fitting of my upper plate of false teeth, sadly after four attempts the teeth I was given fitted so badly that the only way I could keep them in was to keep my mouth closed. I met with the receptionist and aired my grievance and she agreed to refund the money I had paid. The dentist couldn’t continue as I understand that he is now going on leave and leaving the practice. Needless to say I am disappointed and can see no chance of getting an upper replacement plate.

    She was cheerful, friendly, careful and very professional and her offer to telephone me in ten days to check that the problem had cleared up, was a real bonus and very unexpected.
