    Excellent dentist good efficient dental work All staff are friendly and obliging.I am still visiting the practise as an NHS patient

    We have been going to this dentist for many years, myself and partner had check up appointments, 1/2 the car park was out of use so by the time we found a space and walked through the carpark towards the back entrance as normal we noticed a piece of board over a hole, we always use this way as My Partner is in a wheelchair and this is his only access, I called the dentist from their car park and advised we were there for our check up but couldn’t get in the back door, the woman on reception advised ‘no there is no other entrance for w wheelchair so you won’t get in’ she then said ‘I’ll cancel you both today and rebook you when the building work is finished, we don’t know when that will be either, I’ll have to let You know’ With being told this I then advised her the dentist knows my Partner and the receptionists know him also so why couldn’t 1 person just call us and tell us they’d have to cancel due to access issues? She just advised ‘oh i don’t know, I’ll let you know when we Can book you in again.’ No apology nothing! Isn’t it against the law and discrimination to not have disabled accesses nowadays? It’s not just a case of getting in the car and attending the appointment, when the person is disabled it takes time to get that person ready into the car, he has an electric wheelchair so hoisted into the car and on arrival finding Somewhere to park with room enough to get a wheelchair out the car on the hoist and get the person in that chair again. I’m disappointed and angered that not one person could call us. I will be putting in a complaint as this could have been better dealt with.

    I have always had an extremely good experience at the surgery. My dentist Maria is professional and dedicated, and puts me at ease before All consultations. She also keeps me informed whilst working on my teeth. The admin staff are also extremely helpful and courteous and professional at all times.
