    After being registered with this practice for 17 years, I missed my last 2 appointments due to Illness, and duly notified them I could not attend. I was unwell for a number of weeks. When I tried to rebook, the receptionist stated that I would now not be able to be seen as an NHS patient and all future appointments would now have to be paid for privately. This was shocking to me as I was ringing because I needed an emergency appointment. The receptionist explained this is because they were ‘backlogged with appointments’. I think this is very unfair treatment of long standing and low income patients- what a shame.

    Dear Patient, We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our practice. Due to our current NHS appointment available we are unfortunately not able to offer appointments to everyone who contacts the practice, and this can include patients who have previously attended.
