Absolutely brilliant. The dentist and hygienist were so caring and helpful. I only came in for a hygienist appointment but on assessing a potential problem they were exceptional in the process. Even the lovely receptionist was wonderful

I visited MyDentist, Burgh Road, Aylsham with a dental emergency while on holiday in the area and asked if I could see a dentist. I was 300 miles away from my own dentist. One of my dental braces had broken and the wire was tearing the inside of my mouth and causing a great deal of pain. I could not get beyond the receptionist who told me to go the the local pharmacist and buy a DIY filling repair kit to solve my problem. She told me I could not see a dentist. I am not sure of the dental qualifications of this individual or how she could make such an assessment without even looking in my mouth. Fortunately I did not use this DIY kit as I later found out it would have damaged a nearby crown! I was fortunate to be able to see another dentist the following evening (after another 24 hours of pain) and was subsequently able to have the loose wire snipped off, which took 2 seconds. This practise advertises emergency appointments as one of the services it provides. However in my experience the receptionist, rather than the dentist, assessed whether or not I was experiencing a dental emergency - symptoms such as pain, bleeding and swelling did not seem to qualify in this case. Of even greater concern, was to be given wrong and potentially damaging treatment advice by reception staff. I hope this dental practice takes note of my feedback so that others do not experience similar issues in the future.

The staff were all very friendly and professional and did everything to put me at ease. They recognised that I was anxious about going to the dentist and were very reassuring. I had a broken tooth treated and filled, and was recommended to make an appointment with the hygienist, which I did before leaving.

The staff are always friendly and polite and helpful, I used to be very nervous about going to the dentist but since I've been going to this practice I feel very at ease

The receptionist at this surgery is always polite, helpful and welcoming. The dentist and dental nurse were efficient and friendly, especially to my children, one of whom had a tooth extracted with no pain or fuss. Professional service received from all staff. After some previous staff shortages, we are now able to book regular appointments. Glad we still have our local NHS dentist.

This dental practice is a lovely calming environment with a warm welcome from the receptionist. The dentist was warm & friendly with a calming approach. My check up he did was very thorough, with him also checking my ‘Bite’ before finishing. I was relaxed throughout knowing that the dentist was experienced & caring in his field.

Went in for check up mentioned couple minor things & were corrected there & then & also was able to discuss things I was unsure about easily& no pressure as friendly staff who listened & I left feeling positive until next check up!
