I saw the hygienist at Marston Green today and as always it was a pleasure. She is so thorough and yet gentle, she will be missed!

We met a kind and gentle doctor. My daughter felt comfortable and cared for. The doctor gave us some advice about her dental problems. She cleaned her teeth very well and I really appreciated that. Thank you very much!

The staff were all unfailingly polite, friendly and professional. The treatment I received was excellent and the practice is also very well organised.

  7. Review titled Check up

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Friendly welcome on arrival. The appointment was a check up which I have every 6 months. Not sure why there is a TV in the waiting room because every time I go it’s never on. Something on the TV would be helpful to distract from anxious people.

  8. Review titled Overcharged

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Martin Eaton - Posted on 17 April 2025

I had my teeth cleaned with the hygienist on 9th April 2025 and paid the Band 2 rate I then had a routine examination on 16th April 2025 and was charged a further £27.40 for band 1 Upon examination I find that Band 2 charges include everything on band 1 - which includes the examination!!! I feel that I have been deliberately overcharged and am very annoyed about this

  9. Review titled Badly handled procedure

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 April 2025

I was informed by Marston Green Dental Practice that a broken tooth I had which dated back around 4-5 years now needed to be extracted due to an infection. When I asked why the Practice had not spotted this during the regular check-ups I attended during that time, the Dentist could not explain why. Upon attempting the carry out the extraction, the Dentist could not complete the procedure as the tooth broke and therefore abandoned it. Informing me I still need to pay the bill and have a choice of waiting up to 5 months to be referred to a specialist or go private and pay £400. I opted to join the NHS waiting list to see the specialist. I felt this procedure, which was unsuccessful was handled badly as was I left in pain and discomfort with uncertainty in when this will be completed. I have very little confidence that the Dentist knew what to do to recover the situation. Apart from prescribing anti-biotics and sending me on my way. Overall, I felt this was handled badly by the practice.

  10. Review titled High quality professional dental services

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Man Chung Ng - Posted on 16 April 2025

We are a family of four who have just registered as the NHS patients of the Marston Green Dental Centre. The dental examination and assessment that we have undertaken today (16/04/2025) is of high quality. The details, care and patience (in particular with our two young boys) shown by the dentist and the dental practitioner are much appreciated.
