I’ve been using this practice for nearly 30 years and I can say that I would be hard pushed to use anywhere else. It has a real Family feel and I believe they do their very best for their patients.

On a previous visit the dentist recommended a non essential filling and asked if she could simply go ahead. It wasn’t until i asked if there was a cost that I was informed how much the procedure would cost. I was then left in the embarrassing position of having to explain I could not afford the treatment. On my most recent visit my dentist recommended I see the hygienist once every six months instead of annually. I again had to explain I couldn’t afford to make more regular appointments. I then mentioned how upset I was with the incident with the non essential filling at which point the dentist denied trying to go ahead with the treatment without mentioning the cost. I tried to make an appointment for a check up as I left only to be told that I would have to wait for a text reminder- something I’ve never had to wait for before. I asked the receptionist what was the problem and was told there was now a message next to my name in the system and I can’t simply book appointments as usual. All because I suggestedthat as a practice they should consider patients financial situations before making recommendations for non essential treatments. This is similar to my dentist asking me what brand of toothpaste I use every time I have an appointment leaving me in a position where I have to say “I buy whatever is on offer” as I don’t have enough money to simply choose a favourite brand.

Excellent service.. from dentist...and all of the staff.. never had problems 10/10..always helpful..very hygienically clean .wich is most important..

I don’t feel I’m getting treatment that requires for my teeth! And there’s no improvement at all. But I do get invited once every six months for examinations , The reason for the examinations to be investigated the damage not to get worse
