All ok, difficult to book a further appointment due to staffing shortage though so went on the waiting list that my daughter was added to last week following her check up. The receptionist couldn’t locate her name though but said she would add both of us to the waiting list. Post covid we’ve not received reminders for a check up which I find really helpful, would be good to do this again in the future.

The dentist was lovely. I had never met her before but straight away she put me at ease. The young man working with her was a Star.

The dentist explained clearly where I need to brush more to prevent sore gums and removed tartar and did a small polish as requested. Very happy.

Very welcoming! Great dentist that was very informative! The only issue was the wait time. I was waiting for half an hour even though I was on time for my appointment.

My dentist was lovely, had time to listen and explain things. Really like her, she makes you feel relaxed. Also a different dental nurses came to the waiting room for a family with small children (a boy and a girl) he joked with them about their names asking if the boy was the girls name and the girl was the boys name. It made the children giggle and i thought how lovely it was and as some people are scared of the dentist this kind of atmosphere would take that fear away from a young age. He made it fun for them.

That appointment availability is getting less and less, I am now waiting 7 months for a check up instead of 6. This will cause more dental problems as care isn't as available. Yet go private, and seen within a week? This should not be the case. X-rays seem to be pushed a lot on each check up. I was told it had been two years since my last x-ray, yet I explained it had been 6 months as I had one in my last check up. I was then told the system didn't show this until looking deeper, and an apology was given. Yet it was on the system as the assistant clearly stated this after it was queried. In future, unless I'm in pain and a diagnosis isn't given, I will decline all x-rays! They come with health risks such as cancer and should not been offered every 6 months!
