Extremely Disappointed with one the co-principal – Avoid Her I’ve had a great experience at Hoddesdon Dental Surgery in the past, but my recent visit with the co-principal was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I booked a routine appointment to address pain in two different teeth and some gum discomfort. She only looked at one tooth, briefly cleaned it in under a minute, then told me I’d need to book a separate appointment (and pay again) to look at the other tooth and my gum—even though I raised all the issues during the same visit. I was shocked by the lack of care and poor communication. I ended up paying £177 upfront, only to be told she didn't have time to treat the second issue. When I expressed my concern as a private patient, she responded by comparing it to seeing a GP who only handles one issue at a time. Eventually, I had to request a full refund, which she reluctantly agreed to. Her attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely lacking in empathy. The practice itself may offer good care—I’ve seen better dentists there—but she is not someone I would recommend. Avoid her if you want to be treated with respect and receive proper attention for your concerns.
