    I’ve just returned to this dental practice after a few years, my experience this week was exceptional. I was made to feel welcome and the service and treatment could not of been better. I’m a very nervous patient , but all this is taken into consideration. Very pleased to be back.

    I had a tooth extraction booked in with the dentist I usually see, after being nervous about this for two weeks, I was phoned 20 minutes before my appointment with them cancelling. The receptionist said they were cancelling as I had already been seen this year which was for a filling during pregnancy, and therefore I had to wait until the full year for my tooth extraction despite this constantly causing abscesses and needing antibiotic therapy. The receptionist showed no compassion to changing the appointment and didn’t give a good reason for cancelling 20mins before hand. I found this disappointing because the dentist I usually see is excellent, and has been keen for the removal of this tooth for a while. The receptionist didn’t apologise for any inconvenience and instead said “saving the NHS n’all” which made me feel ungrateful despite the circumstances being out of my hands. Very disappointed with this as again they are usually excellent and had it been explained better and with some empathy I wouldn’t have finished the conversation feeling worse and disappointed, and in all honesty I would have been completely fine with it.

    Called them in the morning after a few days of discomfort, receptionist was polite and caring. Three hours later I had a tooth extraction, followed up by a phone call to check that I was ok.
