My 7 year old son who is autistic has to have two teeth extracted the dentist and nurse were so lovely and made him feel so at ease. He was laughing while getting sedated. I then went in wating area while they did the procedure. When I got called back in he was in recovery he was well looked after but I went to pass out the room was a little warm they looked after me and gave me some lucozade and biscuits. Highly recommend this service

  2. Review titled Wrong Info and lack of info supplied

We had an appointment booked for my 8 year old son for a tooth extraction, on the assessment day we had a form put under our nose and just asked to sign on the line for what was needed, and then a leaflet given with a part underlined about no food 6 hours before and water only 2 hours before. On day of extraction turned up for appointment to find they had actually given complete the wron details on the form for my son and they had given us someone elses with different surname and different date of birth and then when they asked regarding food intake i told them last food was night previous and just had milk 3 hours before for a little something on belly to then be told they cannot have milk 4 hours before as it is one of the most dangerous things to have before a procedure so refused to do the treatment. Receptionist said they will have told us on the assessment but both me, my wife and son all confirmed that nothing was said like that and they just pointed out the bit they underlined about the no food 6 hours before and water 2 hours before. This clinic really need to stipulate the no milk 4 hours before if it is so dangerous. Now my son who we had to lie to about when the appointment was due to being scared of going and panics has said he doesn't want the procedure as currently in no pain and wants to wait which i cannot blame him for. Again to reiterate if Milk is such a bad thing and can cause so many complications then this should be in black and white in the leaflet and also maybe they should think about adding a form to sign to say this has been fully explained at the assessment because with them getting the form details incorrect and this incorrect it just says to me about the incompetency of the assessing nurse and dentist at the time
