   Why am I being charged £78 for a check up when the NHS rate is £26.80? This is an NHS practice so NHS rates are what should be applied. The whole charging structure is not being made clear and there is no benefit to being in an NHS practice. The cost of private treatment would be the same.

   Good afternoon, £78 is not an NHS fee. This sounds like you could have had a private hygiene appointment not an NHS check up. Please call or email the surgery to discuss this further. Thank you
