I have been with this dental practice since 1995 and until it was taken over by the Dumledore Dental Care Ltd I never had any issues. Since the focus of the practice became corparate, rather than personal, quaility of patient care has been reduced at greate level. First time in decades I had a bad hygenist treatment and I ended up with gum infection as well as damaged surface on my teeth. They then decided that the hygenists would only be at private rate and not NHS. After this I wanted to be seen by my original hygenist. When I wanted to change my regular appointment I was asked for upfront payment for an appointment in February 2024! I am told that asking for money for a service that has not been delivered is "company policy"! I am really disappointed the way Dumledore Dental Care Ltd has changed a well functioning local practice into such disappointment! There is a high turnover of NHS dentists in this practice and it is clear that the Dumledore Dental Care Lts sees profit becomes before patient care.

This dental surgery never seems to have any staff. They cancel appointments all the time with barely any notice, and rarely answer their phones. They are hardly ever open, even during the published opening times on their website, and when you leave voice messages they don't call you back. They send brief texts the day before your appointment telling you its cancelled, and use exclamation marks which make it sound amusing to them. When you are finally able to speak to someone and make an appointment you occasionally get a text confirmation but other times you get nothing. Its is an extremely poorly managed and run dental practice

I was dreading my visit today. But I came out feeling happy and very pleased with the service I received. A pleasant receptionist, a pleasant and informative dentist. I won't feel so stressed about my next appointment.

I waited 3 months for an appointment which was cancelled the day before & then provided with a new appointment for 3 months later. I had to attend 3 emergency dental appointments because Dumbledore don't have the capacity to treat NHS patients. They currently only have 2 dental practitioners a new dentist who joined recently left after 3 weeks. However, the Dumbledore website still includes staff that left more than 4 months ago.

Very high turnover of all staff- never see the same Receptionist/Dentist/Hygienist or Nurse- no confidence at all in the running of the Dumbledore Practice. Appointments often cancelled without communication but confirmation texts sent out - it's abysmal.
