  1. Review titled Unprofessional

Rated 1 star out of 5

I was referred here after calling 111 for an infection, I had swelling around the affected tooth as well as the neck and tongue, it was incredibly painful and I was having difficulty swallowing. It was a Saturday and my usual dentist was closed. The dentist I saw at Dentalmark was so rude and said that there was nothing he could do, that I would have to wait to see my dentist the following week. Despite doing absolutely nothing other than having a look, they still charged me £120. Two days later, I finally saw my own dentist. He was horrified that the dentist I saw on the weekend had done nothing at all. He was aware of Dentalmark and said they had a bad reputation and should be closed down. It turns out the swelling I had was a very serious complication to a tooth infection and should be treated with antibiotics immediately otherwise it can lead to a swollen airway and death. I honestly can’t believe that in 21st century Briton places like this still exist. You would think they would be more closely monitored and closed down if they didn’t meet the professional standards. I really don’t think 111 should refer any patients here until a full and thorough review into their practice is completed.

  2. Review titled Extremely rude and unhelpful

I tried to call to enrol a client and was told the practice 'could not help with this', despite the fact they are taking on new clients. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, talking over the top of me when I asked a question, and then proceeded to hang up on me.
