    My dentist was excellent, she has always got a smile and explains the procedure perfectly. She is a credit to the practice and very professional.

    Always anxious on a visit but really no need to be as you are always put as ease by the reception staff. The Dentist was so gentle and understanding and the dental nurse very efficient, both were cheerful, smiley and best of all filled me with confidence. Thank you all

    I feel that the practice has improved recently in how Reception area works. The Receptionists are helpful. However I don't think other staff not connected to Reception, just chatting in the area gives the right impression, especially if there is a queue. The dentist I saw did only private practice and to get the treatment I wanted though I am an NHS patient. I feel that dental hygienists should be free or at a reduced rate for NHS patients. I can pay for an hygienists but many others can't and miss out on this vital service. The dentist I saw was professing supportive and so was the dental nurse

Although a scale and polish service is included under NHS Band 1, it is only provided if it is clinically required. Sometimes patients do not meet the criteria during their examination. In some cases, the dentist may feel a clean would be beneficial rather than compulsory. This is when they would advise a separate hygiene appointment with our hygienist.     I had a check up this week, the dentist was friendly and efficient and did a small filling on the spot which was good.

    Two appointments within 8 days, and both started over 30 min late. On the first occasion I was in the chair for less than a minute as the dentist rushed through to try to catch up on some time.

    I had an appointment with a dentist for 10 am. At about 8 am. I received a message from the clinic cancelling my appointment! Two days later, I received another email from the clinic chastising me for not showing up for an appointment at 10:45, on the same day! This indicates that the clinic is not well organized. Regrettably, it is impossible, nowadays, to find an nhs dentist in Oxford! Otherwise, I could not recommend or frequent Damira, dental clinic at Burry Knowle.

    This appointment was a rescheduled appointment by the practice as my sons original apt was cancelled by damira. We waited 40 minutes past the appointment time before being seen.when I asked the guy on reception why this was he shrugged and said double booked appointment.

    Recently registered here after being on the NHS waiting list for a while. In the meantime, I've been seeing another dentist privately and had some XRs / investigations done. The dental practice is quite dark, feels poorly maintained. The staff members at reception and over the phone were friendly but the dentist I saw had poor bedside manner. The appointment was very rushed as the dentist was running late, and I assume, trying to make up for time. I was given a diagnosis after a very brief examination which felt disingenuous. The dentist seemed to dislike being questioned or having to explain the reasoning. I'm grateful to have an NHS dentist, but I'm not sure I can recommend them in all honesty if you have a choice.
