    My autistic son was left completely traumatised by seeing this dentist at Station Plaza. There was no interest in knowing what sensory or auditory issues he had, even when I tried to explain what language to use etc. The anaesthetist was the worst, misogynistic, rude, refusal to accept any responsibility for his behaviour or try and change his approach to calm and reassure my son. The more I asked him to slow down and listen, the more passive aggressive he became. Thanks guys……. You seriously need to review your people skills, understanding of autism and find a more sensitive and compassionate anaesthetist….

    Dentist himself went over and beyond his job role in helping me today. He carried out a white filling in a professional manner. I am disabled so he helped me as much as he was able thank you. I have however e mailed the practice regarding the costing of my treatment which is a different issue. On the whole the dentist was professional and the staff polite. Thank you. Reading other reviews we our Lucky to have a NHS dentist so thank you to all

    Had to have emergancy filling, was told to contact my dentist to have correct filling out in, which I did. When i arrived I was told that the emergancy filling was fine and that it does not need taking out!! Was told to make appointment for hygenist, which i did. Well surprise surprise the emergancy filling fell out. The hygenist said the obvious - you need to get this filled. I made appointment and specifically stated for a filling as it has fallen out. Arrived at my apointment to be told why do you need a filling? Who told you you need a filling? I tried to call you to cancel ( i have no missed calls or texts) we can not do filling our equipment is broke you need to make another appointment. Funny how they used the same number and the text came straight through to my phone. Wasted my time twice now, as not even seen an actual dentist and have still have 2/3rd of my back tooth missing with sharp edges. The only good thing was the hygenist appointment. He was really nice and professional.

    This practice ( Southampton Central ) does not answer either telephone calls or E mails. How can they claim to be customer related

    I was overwhelmed with the service and treatment I got today, it was on time and all the staff were very friendly. I had the most friendly and professional experience at the dentist to date. Very happy

    Last year I had very good service from this dental surgery with one cancellation due to sickness but I was informed with enough notice. This year, very different story. I had an appointment booked months in advance which was cancelled with only a few days notice. No answer when I called but they called back a few days later to reschedule. A day before the rescheduled appointment, they cancelled again. Despite several phone calls I cannot get through to re-book my 2 x cancelled appointment. Very disappointed

    South Cliff Dental Group are the company who run this practice and claim to put customers first. From my experience they fall way below acceptable standards. My appointment in June was cancelled as they had no dentist!!! I rearranged for September as the receptionist believed one would be in place. I phoned 3 times and emailed on the day of the appointment to confirm but received no reply. As they are keen to point out, no shows will be charged, so I kept my appointment. It was no surprise on arrival to find the surgery shut! South Cliff Dental Group claim to put customers first, yet could not manage the simple common courtesy of contacting their customers. Reading reviews from other practices they run, it would seem this is not an isolated case!

    After waiting 8 months for an appointment they cancelled it 3 days before the appointment was due, via text. Not possible to get hold of anybody over the phone. Left messages for a call back but no response. Terrible service.

    I joined at the start of 2022 after being on the wait list and so far have had two appointments cancelled the day before they were due to go ahead via text. So I still haven't actually been seen since registering. After the second cancellation last week I have tried to call numerous times and no one is picking up the phone. I can't afford to go private otherwise I would do so but I desperately need to see a dentist. Not sure how they can treat people this way.
