Despite several cancellations of appointments once I was seen by the dentist the service was excellent. A thorough and very careful dentist who minimised any discomfort I may have felt.

The reception staff greet you pleasantly but thats where there good experience ends. Waited over 30 minutes to be seen (after my appointment time). To then be rushed into a room, have the dentist spend no more than 3 minutes (I'm not exaggerating) looking in my mouth and telling me everything is fine and I should book again in 6 months. I was in the chair less than 10% of the time I spent at this place. The dentist I was seen by lacks bedside manner and was actually quite rude telling me, like it was my fault, that she didn't have time to do the band 1 clean I had booked in for with my check up. I understand that they run late occasionally, but how is it my fault they over book and don't allow adequate time to see patients? Going to the dentist is already quite a stressful time for many who might be nervous or have anxiety, at no point did I feel I would have been put at ease by the experience I had today. They get away with it because they know they are the only dentist who see NHS patients around. When I booked I had originally asked for another dentist because of a similarly abrasive experience with this particular dentist before and was told the one I requested doesn't work there any more so you can imagine my surprise when I arrived to see her very much working there but seeing other patients. I’ll only go back, because I don't have a choice.

Unfortunately I had to wait until March 2024 for a check up I was supposed to have in September 2023. I was told this was due to staffing issues. I have to say when I was seen the dentist and dental nurse were excellent, very friendly and professional. I have no concerns about the examination and advise given.

Very efficient service, although it was later than appointment apologies were made. Would recommend. Very kind and friendly staff who put you at ease.

Superb and pain free treatment even for those like myself with a phobia about dentistry. The clinicians, assistants and clerical receptionists are all very kind and helpful making an appointment less apprehensive. Totally recommended.

I had a tooth extracted this morning . This must be the least painful dental work of this nature that I can ever recall receiving at any dentist. Top marks too for the Admin arranged at the front desk.

Treated with respect by Staff. Work still to be done, explained. Reassured re cost so that I was able to pay some of it off. It all contributes to a successful dental visit.

I recently had a root canal which I was nervous about & apart from the injection it was pain free & gave me no discomfort when home. Many thanks to my dentist, her assistant & the friendly receptionists

I couldn't ask for a better team than Banbury Dental Practice's. The dentist I saw yesterday was thoroughly attentive, informative, and very calming in his approach to me as his patient during the procedure. I feel very well looked after at Banbury Dental Practice and give the entire team my highest recommendations.
