The hygienist was so friendly, genuinely felt like she took the time to get to know me and she was helpful, demonstrating how I can improve my brushing. 10/10

I expected a long wait for an NHS check up but was amazed to be given an appointment within a working week - allowing for Christmas holidays! Thorough check up, explained pleasantly and necessary appointment for treatment within a week. My treatment is still to come, hence my non-committal opinion on that question.

The Dentist we saw had a lovely mannerism and was really good with my children, helping to put them at ease. I did not feel rushed at all, and he took time to talk through options. We were seen promptly too. The receptionist staff were really helpful and friendly too. Thank you.

Following my check up in August, I needed to consult my dentist unexpectedly in October due to painful infection in my lower jaw. I popped in early on a monday. My usual dentist was not available but Reception were very helpful and I was given an appointment later the same day with another dentist who could not have been clearer in diagnosing the problem, dealing with it following an X-ray and then organising a follow up in 3 weeks time with my usual dentist. We really are very fortunate to have such a good practice. So once again, thank you Buttercross.

Had my annual check up, was well looked after and well treated. Staff and dentist were polite, could not ask for anything better. Have been attending this dentist for over 10years and my dentist has always looked after me well.

When I was young I was terrified of visiting the dentist. Now I genuinely look forward to annual check ups. Even root canal treatment in 2022 was carried out in such a painless way with care and patience that I still looked forward to my next visit. I have had some half dozen dentists over the years and this dentist and the practice's receptionists, nurses and hygienist are in my experience the best by a distance .

Good explanation of what treatment would be necessary, but at the same time explaining that there could be no complete guarantee of success owing to serious tooth degeneration
