overall a very good practice but a few problems seem to have arisen this year .I've had two appointments cancelled one at very short notice.Tried phoning but was number 7 in qué which never changed after 10 minutes. When I went for my appointments they were not on time having to wait 15 minutes.

The dentist is pleasant, if a bit over critical. Everything is clean. The waiting room is fine and the reception staff are fine too. I did find it impossible to book an appointment online - it always said there were no appointments available - and every time I tried to phone there was a queue which did not shrink over time. I have had to visit the practice in person to book appointments each time. Nobody is ever answering the phone while I'm there. Why can't I book online?

I was booked in efficiently on the day of my appointment. I was seen at the time of the appointment, and the time taken to complete the work done on my teeth was as stated before I booked the appointment. So far I'm pleased with the quality of the work done on my teeth. Also the dentist and the assistants were friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly staff. My dentist makes me feel relaxed and not anxious about what she’s going to do. I usually enjoy my visit.

I had one of my back teeth rebuilt as it had broken in half the dentist did a great job on it fixed and now is fine

Have found them to be a bit flippant about recommending treatment and vague about recommendations, which meant I had to rebook a further check up to then request treatment (and pay for it). Then one minute the treatment is a filling the next it's going to be a sealant of some sort. With good intentions she tried to fix a chip in one of my front teeth with some sort of paste and was happy for me to leave the building with teeth that were completely uneven and aesthetically ridiculous. She then got quite defensive and very dismissive when I reentered the room and asked her to undo the botched job, making it quite uncomfortable to ask her to remove it all properly. When she'd got most of it off I was then ignored like a kid pretending not to see someone in the room as I stood up. I then spent the rest of the day trying to chip the remainder of whatever it was after leaving which incidentally has resulted in another small chip. So thanks for that. Couldn't fault the first few visits to Abbey Dental but after the past couple times wouldn't recommend.

Had a great experience with this dentist. I went for a check up and a hygienist appointment. All members of staff that I dealt with were extremely nice and friendly. The appointments were on time and I was given good, clear advice. Would highly recommend.
