  1. Review titled Poor management

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Christopher Hall - Posted on 31 March 2023

We have previously received great service at the walk in clinic, last time waiting time was 1.5hrs and we were told to return on Friday at 1pm. What happened when we arrived shocked me as the nurse was off sick and nobody bothered to look at her schedule and let patients know that she was off sick and give them the opportunity to rebook or sit and wait. The receptionist was not apologetic at all and told us we have to wait a min of 2hrs. Surely in this day and age they could of given us a choice not just let us arrive as people have other things to do with their lives than sit and wait 2 hrs, absolutely fuming at the attitude and lack of organisation with this clinic

  2. Review titled Long wait, great staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 February 2023

It was busy and we had to wait about 3 hours but after recent experiences in A&E (9 hours each time) this was definitely the better option for an injury and a much nicer environment. It was bright and clean, the receptionist was lovely, as was the very kind and efficient nurse who attended to my mother. She repeatedly apologised for the wait. With NHS services being so overstretched, more and more cases are being pushed onto walk in centres and A&E departments, simply because GP appointments are not readily available. A sad state of affairs but one cannot fault the staff who cheerfully go about their jobs and treat patients with kindness and respect.

Visited as been feeling unwell for 2 weeks, I was advised of the wait time on arrival and the Doctor I saw was fantastic. I felt really reassured and was given advice on what to do if I didn’t feel better.

  5. Review titled Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Richard Harris - Posted on 11 December 2022

I visited the Centre last Monday, 5 December, as I was in great pain due to gastric reflux. The nurse I saw carefully noted my history and recommended pain relief medication, explaining why some medication options were not suitable given the meds I already take. This nurse was kind, professional, knowledgeable and she sorted me out. Surrey NHS, please thank her from me.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jess - Posted on 13 December 2022

Went to walk in for side paid was told the service was at full capacity but still given option to see a nurse, saw a nurse within 20 mins and they had caught up so managed to have a full assessment I was home within the hour and have a gp appointment this morning she went thought eveything to try and identify the problem I will need more tests but so thorough and lovley nurses ladies like that are keeping the service going even working under so much strain with shortages this didn’t affect there care and friendly service! Will not hesitate to use again if I happen to need to! Thank you

  7. Review titled Great treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Harold Clive Mather - Posted on 20 December 2022

I attended the Woking walk in clinic today with a fractured finger. On a day when there was a nurses' strike and numerous cases of flu, Covid or related illnesses I was given an X-ray, excellent diagnosis, referral and helpful advice from the staff nurse/practice nurse. Just great treatment for which many thanks.

  8. Review titled Made me feel even more grateful for the NHS

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 October 2022

Quick to get through on the phone, friendly and knowledgeable receptionist (and was the same in person too). Easy to park and free! Brisk and abrupt triage lady who caught us off guard - however I can see the benefit of speed under the circumstances (but a friendlier manner with poorly people would always help..!). Seen much quicker than the expected waiting time and back to friendly and knowledgeable with the 2x staff seen in the clinic room (one, and then a reassuring second opinion). Provided with good care and plenty supplies to keep us going over the weekend. Very happy with the service provided and so lucky to have this free service - I love the NHS!

  10. Review titled Very good experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Diana Crook - Posted on 12 October 2022

Haven’t been to Woking Walk in Centre before. Left another local A&E in despair at the wait with a bad cut and was advised to try Woking Walk in Centre by one of the A&E staff. Arrived at Woking Walk in Centre just before closing and fully expected to be turned away and sent off to another A&E but the receptionist said she would check with one of the nurses, who offered to stay behind and dress my wounds. I know I can’t mention names but I suspect the receptionist and nurse in question will know the occasion and I can’t speak highly enough of their dedication and friendly attitude. A great example of the NHS at its very best.
