I was referred for an X-ray by my GP. Went along to X-ray at Whitegate Drive walk in centre, expecting to be waiting for quite a while. On arrival I was directed to the dedicated X-ray area, where I was immediately booked in. Only a few minutes later I was taken to the X-ray area to change. As soon as I was ready, I was called into the X-ray theatre and the process was completed with a few minutes, by very friendly, polite radiology team. I was on my way less than 20 mins after arriving. Fantastic service, thank you.

If it hadn't been for the service I received here I wouldn't be able to write this review. Because of the super-efficient knowledge of a certain member of staff my family would be planning my funeral. I contracted sepsis and pneumonia. They worked so fast and I will be eternally grateful. They do a fantastic job and not enough credit is given. Thanks all you do a fantastic job..

After first seeing the Doctor i was referred to the x-ray department to have my foot x-rayed followed by having blood taken . I am still waiting for the results of these actions.

I used this service having fallen on a stone staircase, resulting in damage to my face. your reception expressed concern and informed me that they would try and fast track for treatment they ask me to wait, within 4-5 minutes a doctor called me into his room where he carried out a full medical and mental examination. he then escorted me to a wound dressing station, giving instructions to the two excellent nurses on what dressings to be used. I cannot praise to highly the medical service I was given by the team in the Blackpool w.i.center

I have had several visits to the Foot and Ankle department ,Podiatry Every person who has attended to me ,has been unbelievably kind caring, and they completely explain every procedure from start, to finish, from the very pleasant reception desk, to as I mention every person I have seen within this team, I do not offer praise easy, but they really deserve a mention, they are an absolute credit to the NHS

Having spent2daystrying to make a aappoitmenti attended ,2/5/2022, as my gum was infected i was told aftertaking the course of medicine 5 days that i would be called back tothe dentist it is now 10/5/2022 no call backihave spent all day trying to getthrough tono avail I have paid for thetooth removal when is the ?

I attended the centre for an x-ray of my chest. The two men on the reception were very pleasant, took my referral card and asked me to sit and wait. One man called me to follow him, we entered a second waiting area where there were six people waiting, adjacent to the x-ray room. Infront of all these people, for all to hear, he asked me,"are you wearing a bra?" "has it got wire in it". I was embarrassed while everyone listened. He said go in the cubicle, take your bra off and put on a gown. I did so but felt embarrassed coming out, feeling my breasts were visible through the hospital gown especially because all knew I had to take off my bra. There was an unsavoury character also waiting watching my every move. I felt vulnerable. I held my coat over my chest. The staff member then brought in another lady, asked her, again for all to hear, to "take off all her underwear and put in a gown". This procedure is unacceptable and needs to be amended. My suggestion is that each person is privately informed what to do, out of earshot if others. There were plenty of unused rooms on the way to the x-ray area that could be utilised. Please take my complaint seriously.

Following major stomach surgery in May I started attending on a daily basis for wound dressings. Due to complications this was not as straightforward as I had hoped but the HCA's were amazing. I felt quite low at times but they always managed to cheer me up. They also sought out alternative dressings/creams etc for me due to allergies I developed. I was finally discharged on 1st September after 80 visits. There were times, when due to staff sickness, the staff were clearly under pressure, but they pulled through with a smile. Well done - and thank you.
