i have been trying to get some simple results from this practice since june 2023. I went into the surgery with my letter of request from nhs for my full blood count and vit d levels, i showed the lady at the reception my letter and even told her what I required, she booked me in for an appointment and said they would take my blood tests when I come in for my appointment. I went in again for my appointment and spoke to the receptionist and asked to book in another appointment to have another swab test carried out, and I even gave her a copy of the letter as she asked for a copy which she required to upload on the system under my records. My name was called and i went in and the doctor asked me what i required, which i informed her and she said i would need to see the nurse and not a doctor, to which i told her that’s what I requested from the receptionist initially when i came in to book an appointment, and that i needed to see a nurse for a blood test for vit d, and my full blood counts, so then i rebooked for another appointment to come in yet again, and the lady at the receptionist even said she would call me to which i never received. a week later i decided to chase up updates as i hadn’t heard anything and to my surprise my documents hadn’t even been uploaded and nor any updates of me coming in and speaking to the doctor about my issue, and even the doctor didn’t bother submitting a follow up to which she said she would and that someone would call me. So the gentleman I spoke to said he would call me back after speaking to the other receptionist who i left the letter with from nhs as she hadn’t bothered adding them on my records. finally he found them and called me back, and then arranged for me to go in again to get my full bloods and vit d. i went in for my appointment after a week, and told the nurse yet again i required full blood counts and vit d levels and she assured me it would be done. I called in after a few days to gain updates, and they said my reports were fine and I requested for a copy to be emailed to me and they said i would need to come in, so i went in today and yet again they haven’t completed what i requested, i managed to get my full blood counts but the nurse didn’t bother requesting my vit d, and they told me i would have to come in again and book an appointment again to have my bloods done again so they can send them away to receive my vit d results, and this has been ongoing since June, and i am really frustrated and upset with their service, considering i don’t like needles for one, and then there are further delays to receive something simple, whilst the hospital has been waiting two months for me to give them the results and i have yet not being able to provide anything due to incompetence of the surgery. i am considering leaving them and going elsewhere.
