    The phlebotomy service is now so efficient, from being able to book appointments online, to virtually no queues on arrival. What a difference from the days of sitting waiting for an eternity in a crowded room. Well done NHS staff !

    Thank you to the two ladies in the Breast Screening Department who were so accommodating to my mobility/health issues and treated me with such dignity, taking things at my pace and talking me through the process to make it as easy as possible given my limitations and the amount of pain I am currently in. Praise where praise is due and today I can say I felt valued and respected.

    I would just like to offer my thanks for the considerate attention I received today 15/9/22 when I attended to have a hearing test and the subsequent supply and fitting of new hearing aids. The audiologist was knowledgeable and instructive and sorted out my problem quickly. Thankyou, Mal Murphy

    I've had cause to visit for blood tests 3 times recently and can't praise the staff here enough. Very friendly, fast and efficient. I normally dread going for blood tests but since coming here it's not so bad at all.

    I was referred by my GP after several weeks of problems(suspected colitis), was put on the urgent referral list. I was informed that the urgent at this moment is approx 4/5 months. With the pain and condition not improving at all, the GP then referred my to the emergency 2 week referral. I finally thought brilliant some progress, well that was wrong, I had a telephone appointment 1 week later where they informed me I needed to do a Fit test. This would be posted out next day and return it to the hospital labs. The test never arrived, so several days later I rang to enquire what was to happen. Can you make your way to the hospital and collect it myself, which I did and returned it the same day. I was informed that they would ring in the next day or two to discuss the results. Well no phone call just an email informing me of another telephone appointment in a few weeks??? My GP informs me he cannot help me(prescribe) anything etc to help until the have an outcome from the GI team. Hence the problem I cannot even get to see a GI team member for several more weeks, the GP says the only option maybe to just go to the A&E dept, or if you can afford it go private??? surely there has to be a better way than having to go private. People are struggling here but have no one to turn to, we need to see Doctors not the admin staff via phone calls.

    My elderly mum was diagnosed with cancer in the womb a few weeks ago,she was referred to the Thomas linaker centre,all the staff were excellent, caring and considerate, explaining what will happen next, so thank-you to everyone involved that day.

    Brilliant, Long story short. After four months of suffering with ears and my doctor not knowing what to do, I eventual went to E.N.T. at Linacre. Super efficiency In less than one hour and on time I was examined, Tested, Treated. One week later my ears where sorted out and when I went back two week later, seen on time and left in fifteen minute's. The staff and Doctors, Ten out of Ten. Thank You.
