  1. Review titled Ridiculous!

Firstly, I realise the NHS is stretched and I fully appreciate there are more patients than staff can deal with. However, this practice just increases its workload and makes life very difficult for patients. I repeatedly (on and off all day) tried calling on Monday to get the results of blood tests and to make an appointment. I finally got through and was told that my (repeat) blood test had come back 'ok'. When I asked what the result actually was I was told 'we can't give that information over the phone'. I then asked to make an appointment but was told we have no appointments until the following day so I would need to call back after 11am the next day or call in at the surgery. I decided to do the latter and on Thursday I called in at the surgery. By this time I had had several episodes of feeling off balance and nauseous when I eat. This had been going on for some time but initially, I hadn't taken much notice but as the frequency and severity were increasing and I am coeliac I felt I should see the doctor. When I arrived the receptionist said 'we have no appointments and you need to call tomorrow after 11'. I then told her my symptoms and she said a doctor would call me later that same afternoon. The doctor never called but instead, I got a text message telling me to call back in the morning after 11. I did this and guess what?.....yes, you got it......the receptionist told me again to call back in the morning after 11 or better still call by at the surgery. Every time I call, this not only wastes my time but theirs and it is absolutely appalling that they can get away with this. I have tried to go on their website to complain but they are uncontactable. I would suggest they are uncontactable because they want their patients to go away. They don't care where or what happens to them so long as they don't have to deal with it. I am totally disgusted and going to register with a different practice. On the few occasions I have been seen there I can say that the doctors themselves have been good but it is just the organisation of the practice which is a shambles and ridiculous.

I rang the surgery to ask for some advice, after sending some picture of rash ( 9.15 in morning) i heard nothing and decided to chase it up! I finally received a call to say my picture were lost and i was diverted to another branch ( 6.15 Evening) to be told to bathe in oats and milk( bearing in mind I'm not Cleopatra) NHS is going to the dogs!!!
