Rated 5 stars out of 5

Great service from the GP. He had clearly read my notes beforehand and was up to speed with what was to be discussed. Everything was explained fully and the results of test were given in an easy to understand manner. All of my questions were answered in a professional way and I wasn’t made to feel as if I were stupid or wasting his time. Very satisfied. Thank you. Highly recommended

Had an appointment yesterday morning with a locum GP. She was excellent - extremely professional with a fantastic manner. A great listener and clearly very competent. I was also impressed with the reception staff who were very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Review titled Very disappointing
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Roberta Priore - Posted on 19 December 2024
I have been dealing with serious PCOS-related issues, and since starting a heavy combined contraceptive pill as treatment, I’ve experienced several debilitating symptoms, including migraines, irregular bleeding, amenorrhea, weight gain, water retention, and heavy legs. After enduring these symptoms for weeks until my scheduled appointment, I was finally called by a doctor, yet again, a different one than before, who seemed entirely unfamiliar with my case. He appeared to have no prior understanding of the reason for my visit or any knowledge of my medical history, as he suggested a coil or Cerazette with the comment, "I can see you want to prevent pregnancy, so I suggest Cerazette." I felt deeply frustrated and disappointed. I explained to him that my goal is not to prevent pregnancy, especially at my age, but rather to manage my hormonal imbalance, reduce the debilitating pain that has landed me in the hospital multiple times, and stop fainting at work due to extreme period pain. The doctor’s response was dismissive, and he changed his tone as though I were being unreasonable. Despite my objections and the explanation of my symptoms, he insisted on prescribing Cerazette, leaving me completely unsatisfied with the outcome. What’s even more concerning is that I have not had the opportunity to speak with a professional gynecologist since undergoing surgery on my cervix. I have not been shown or discussed my scans, and the only advice I’ve received has been to “take paracetamol for a week.” After my appointment, I checked the NHS app and reviewed the information about Cerazette. It is clearly unsuitable for my condition and could worsen the symptoms I’m already experiencing. This left me feeling even more frustrated and unsupported. These situations are delicate, like any other health issue, and it feels unprofessional and irresponsible to be repeatedly seen by random doctors who have no familiarity with my medical history or current condition. At this point, I don’t know what to do. My problem remains unresolved, and I’m concerned about how much worse my symptoms may become. I also have a referral to see a gynecologist, but there’s a long waiting list, which makes it even more critical for my GP to handle my case with care, attention, and accountability. If my symptoms worsen, I am determined to escalate this issue further.

Review titled 5 star Staff
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by E R David - Posted on 17 February 2025
The staff /doctors really nice . Well be much better and easier if in the future after a scan /ct or things like this ,the results to come from them. Not to wait another 3 weeks for the result. It's not okay. Almost 3 months to wait for the scan and 3 weeks for the results. It's not okay ! You stay in pain just waiting the results ,cause after the GP can prescribe something.
