  2. Review titled Very disappointing.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I had an appointment for a transvaginal ultrasound at 14:25 pm. I arrived early (around 14:10) since they were so adamant in the letter the practice sent me about being on time for the appointment. Announced my appointment to the receptionist and she instructed me to wait. Two people arrived after me, one of them mentioned she didn’t remember the time of her appointment but the receptionist mentioned that it was at 14:30. Long story short everyone that arrived after me for an ultrasound went in first. By this point it was 14:40 or something, when I asked the receptionist about this, she mentioned that I arrived “too early” and that everyone else arrived at the expected time of their appointment. I mentioned the fact that the lady that had an appointment for 14:30 went in before me and how that seemed unfair since my appointment was at 14:25. She insisted that because I arrived too early I had to wait for my turn. After this, I noticed that after one of the patients left she went to the ultrasound room and they left me waiting another 15 minutes. While I completely understand everyone has to wait for their turn, doesn’t seem right to me to be the last patient to go in, when I definitely arrived with plenty of time for my appointment and it seems I was being punished for that, and also for mentioning someone else that had an appointment later went in first. When I finally went in for my ultrasound the staff was rude; the nurse didn’t let me know when she was going to introduce the device for the transvaginal scan, which caused me pain and discomfort I still have today; she didn’t mention anything from the images and I couldn’t see the screen either (in my last ultrasound the nurse at least gave me a bit of reassurance). Everything was done quickly; they didn’t hide their annoyance and they were very impatient while I was getting dressed to leave. Never felt so humiliated before. I do not recommend this service to anyone.
