   I took my granddaughter there on a Saturday afternoon, after she had sustained a cut to her chin that would not stop bleeding. The minor injuries unit was closed- there was no notice on the door, but by chance we saw a doctor who explained we would have to go to Corby Urgent Care Unit. I subsequently discovered the unit at St Luke’s only opens at weekend if they can get the staff, but they do not have the courtesy to post any information to advise anyone attending. We waited for years for this ‘improved’ facility, but even post-Covid the service provided is worse than when the unit was housed in the cottage hospital in the town centre, so how can this be progress?
