I was treated very well from the time I arrived, when a gentleman brought out a wheelchair for me. I was pushed around in this wheelchair all the time. The staff were without exception very friendly and cheerful. The surgeon who did my cataract removal was very communicative and kept me informed of what she was doing throughout the removal.

I attended the practice for Cataract treatment. I was very quickly offered a preassessment and six days later I had my operation. The staff were all wonderful. They explained everything to me, alleviated any concerns I had and I felt very well cared for in every way. The operation was not painful and I am typing this 48 hrs later. Eyesight much improved already. Thoroughly recommend this practice.

The staff were very caring and kind and explained the cataract surgery at every stage. The procedure went well and according to plan. I consider myself to be a nervous patient and the staff were very reassuring. The eye is doing well and I can’t praise them enough .

Very friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived until we left, felt relaxed and well informed throughout the whole procedure surgical staff very professional and friendly.

Had cataract surgery a few days ago was worried before I went in but the nurses were really kind and helpful. The procedure was really quick and painless the surgeon was very efficient and put me at ease. Also very nice coffee and biscuits. Thank you to all at Wokingham

The staff are lovely. Very welcoming, reassuring and comforting. The procedure was quick but slightly more uncomfortable than last time but overall, I have no complaints at all. Thank you to everyone.

Fantastic care. Lovely staff and a pleasant environment. Grateful to surgeon and theatre staff for a painless procedure. The optics match my glasses and vision clearer. Looking forward to the left eye being sorted.

My cataract surgery was completed less than three weeks after being referred by my optician. I was told by my optician I would receive a text telling me when SpaMedica would call. I got a text the same day letting me know they would call at a certain time, in two days. The text also gave me the option to call SpaMedica which I did straight away and after walking through a series of AI generated questions, I was too I would be contacted about an appointment. I was called a day later and booked in the following week. They gave good information about that initial assessment. One feature I really appreciated were the clear posters in each waiting area which explained exactly what happened at each stage of that assessment. It outlined the flow of the different examinations one had to have. They warned me to allow 2-3 hours for this appointment but I was all done in just over an hour. I was booked in for surgery 10 days later, before I left. On the day of surgery they had similar posters showing the process and assessments that would happen. It was very helpful to have some indication of how long each of these was likely to take. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I have already been contacted by my optician for a follow you check. Thank you - I am very grateful

Excellent and efficient service and friendly staff throughout my cataract treatment today If you are nervous (as I was) can thoroughly recommend this clinic.
