Operation days excellent on both occasions. Post Op examinination day slightly below par due yo excessive waits between rooms ( 1h-30m)

Was seen and operated on within 8 days of my referral. Then excellent service at the clinic. Will have no reservations about having the second eye operated on. Thank you

I have now had cataract surgery on both eyes at SpaMedica Wokingham. The wait from referral to assessment and operation was remarkably short, bearing in mind that the cost was entirely covered by the NHS. The hospital was clean and bright and every member of staff was professional and friendly. The improvement in my distance vision is spectacular thanks to the thoroughness of the pre-op assessment and the skill of the surgeon. Telephone queries (minor) were quickly answered and all information regarding the procedures was shared with my community optician for follow-up checks. Overall I couldn’t have wished for a better experience.

I am now two weeks post operation with my second eye and am thrilled with the result. My appointments were all quick and hassle free. All members of the staff made me feel relaxed from the outset with their friendly and helpful manner, and the Clinic itself was absolutely spotless. The procedure on both occasions was swift, the surgeon and his team fantastic. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this fantastic treatment to anyone in need of improved eyesight. I will be forever grateful for their expertise and professionalism. Thank you.

A very stressful situation dealt with on a very personal basis. All staff were very caring and professional. Everything was explained in great detail and the whole experience made as good as possible.

Very happy with the treatment I received. From the receptionists to the doctors. I was very nervous but they put me at ease. Talking to me throughout. The surgeon was marvellous. We even had a little singsong. Nothing was too much trouble.

All of the staff from reception to nursing staff, assistants and consultant and surgery staff in the complex case team were attentive and caring throughout my first cataract surgery. The cataract procedure was explained before, during and after in detail and I was made to feel relaxed and at ease. My consultant surgeon was exceptional in her professional capacity and her ‘bedside manner’. Hopefully my second cataract surgery will be as great an experience.

Excellent experience, the staff were very friendly and everything went very smoothly. I was most impressed with the length of time I had to wait for surgery and my initial consultation. The outcome is very good and I would definitely recommend SpaMedical to anyone needing cataract surgery.
