Had my cataract surgery at Widnes. The whole procedure was carried out with care, understanding, friendliness and total professionalism. Cannot recommend Widnes Spamedica highly enough

I was a bit concerned as this was my first experience of Eye surgery. However, the staff soon put me at ease and explained everything at each stage. Would certainly recommend.

Just had my second cataract done. All the staff were kind and supportive. Everywhere very clean and efficient. I was in and out in no time. Quick and painless operation. I’m delighted with the results. Distant vision in both eyes is better than I ever imagined!

I have attended this hospital to have my cataract done today. My treatment was excellent as were the staff who were caring for me.

The Widnes hospital has state of the art equipment and the same goes for the staff. If anyone is anxious about having cataract surgery (as I was) please don't be. Everything was explained in detail by exceptional staff with someone there to help at every step of my journey. The coffee ain't bad either!

Had cataract surgery. Second time with Spamedica. Both times excellent service. First time was around 7 years ago in Newton le Willows. This time at Widnes. Staff friendly and helpful. Medical facility modern, clean and tidy. Surgeon and nursing staff professional. No discomfort of any kind during or after surgery. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about the SpaMedica team in Widnes; throughout my appointment and procedure the team at Widnes were super supportive across all the disciplines involved. The experience from walking through the door and then out again afterwards was a seamless and fantastic experience.

I had my first cataract surgery two days ago at SpaMedica Widnes and was very impressed with all aspects of my visit. Excellent, friendly staff, immaculate surroundings and smooth transition from one department to another, ie examination, administration of drops and full explanation of what was being done through to eventual surgery. Absolutely first class, 5 star service from all the staff and consultant. Highly recommend. Thank you all!

Thank you SpaMedica for restoring confidence and colour to my life. Throughout my treatment, all clinical staff were informative and re-assuring and clerical/support staff polite and accommodating. Overall, a good experience with a very positive outcome - would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending to family and friends.
