I turned up with great trepidation, the thought of eye surgery terrified me. The staff were very kind and attentive, putting me at ease. The operation took about 15 minutes and was totally painless, weird sensation but not unpleasant. I have now no worries about having my second one done.

All the staff were very professional but also welcoming and ready to put me at ease. From registering at reception, to the nurses and the Surgeon, they all made me feel confident in the procedure, and the results are amazing.

I can't speak highly enough of the staff and service,I can't thank them enough for restoring clarity and definition back to my sight, I was amazed the first day after my surgery to be able to see nature in all its glory again, wonderful.

Spamedica Wakefield have now completed cataract surgery on both my eyes. The staff are very helpful and the surgery process itself is very quick and well thought out. I am very impressed with their professional approach

Excellent service very helpful and professional The clinic was clean and the staff were great. I was a bit nervous when I went for my first eye done but there was nothing to worry about. Didn’t take long at all,very quick. The second eye was the same experience as the first. Would recommend Ossett spa medica

I'm only 42 and the thought of having an operation on my eye terrified me. After initial referral by my optician for a cataract in 1 eye in March, Spa Medica made contact within a couple of days with a pre op assessment appointment at their clinic in Ossett. Initial appointment was well planned going through the various processes required & at the end I was able to book my operation date for the following week. Operation day I found helpful sat in the room with others waiting for drops to kick in. Others having it done were there for their second eyes doing & made it sound so easy. The op itself literally took 10 mins & then I was given my post op pack with drops in. Post op assessment was carried out with my optician & as she was unsure of something she referred me back to Spa Medica who when I did visit again, confirmed everything was fine. The staff I came across at Spa Medica on each visit were all friendly, helpful & put you at ease. In all, it has been 8 weeks from pre op assessment to full sign off & being able to get new glasses with my optician this morning.

I was extremely impressed with every member of staff, both pre and post procedure, on all the appointments I had. The theatre staff and the Surgeons who performed both my procedures were most professional and extremely pleasant and polite. The procedure for my cataracts has been a tremendous success and I am delighted with the wonderful effect it has had on my vision. Well done SpaMedica, well done NHS. Thank you. Chris Brook.
