The clinic is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful . The treatment I received was quick and efficient and I will have no hesitation in returning to get my other eye done as soon as possible.

I attended a pre op session in mid June 23 and had the cataract done yesterday, 3rd July 23. The care and attention to detail was quite remarkable. Like many I am not the world's best patient and fear of the unknown can be a significant concern, especially when the procedure involves the eye. Every single member of staff was kind, helpful, and reassuring. The cataract operation was brief, completely painless and apart from being absolutely weird (bright light in the eye and a liquid running in the eye) it was over in no time at all. Insofar as anything like this can be 'a pleasure' the experience was really ok. The waiting around before the procedure tends to add to the anxiety, but the waiting is understandable, the eye drops have to take effect. I am so impressed at the professionalism of the Spa Medica staff. Every single one of them. Today? I can see properly out of my right eye, no more cloudy vision. I am so pleased to have had the procedure, grateful to the NHS, and extremely grateful to all the Spa Medica staff for their care of me and their patience. Well done!

All aspects well organised and undertaken. Staff were polite, thoughtful and kind. Even minor delays during the procedure were made acceptable as you were kept informed.

From the moment of contact this practice showed professional patient care.The staff made you feel very relaxed and gave you full support. All the staff made you feel very welcome . I could not have asked for more when they carried out my eye surgery . I thank the whole staff members from cleaners to surgeons.

From meet and greet at the pre-op consultation; through various checks and tests with a number of clinic personnel; during the operation itself; to farewell at the discharge desk:- all went as smoothly as one might hope for. You’ll need all the waiting around time that you’ve been warned about. I experienced no pain at all during the op - nor afterwards; a fleeting experience of minor discomfort only. Remember to take your sunglasses with you, for you’re about to enter a (very) bright new world. If you already use eye drops of any kind, make sure you have a new supply for post-op care - and a new pack of sterile swabs. For me, the outcome has has been absolutely brilliant.
