From start to finish everything was faultless. The staff were brilliant,and could not have been more helpful. . Nothing was a problem to them. All procedures etc were clearly explained. The cataract operation itself was 100% pain free. Many thanks to all the team at Stockton-----You deserve it!

From the first contact to the actual cataract surgery there was a highly professional attitude . All staff members were friendly and courteous from the initial welcome to the final departure. Surgical staff filled me with confidence and ensured that the surgery was carried out in a timely manner . Communication was excellent .

From the very first contact everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and all I needed to know about the procedure was explained in full.I was still a bit nervous on the day of my procedure but I was soon put at ease especially by the surgeon who told me everything that was done as it happening and the nurse who handled my preassessment and the nurse who instructed me in my aftercare. It was simply Brilliant service and care much more than I had expected.

I more or less knew what to expect at the preop examination, because I had laser treatment many years ago. Everything went perfectly smoothly. On the day of the actual surgery, I was shown into a waiting room from which I was transferred to a room with a medical nurse who administered some eyedrops and a tiny pellet under my lower eyelid. From there it was into the surgery itself where I lay on a bed with a headrest. The surgeon explained exactly what he was going to do and proceeded with the surgery. An extremely bright light was shone into my eye and 5 minutes later, I was told that the surgery was complete. An transparent eyepatch was placed over my eye and I was told not to remove it until the following morning. I was then taken to the discharge nurse who provided me with a discharge package, consisting of an information booklet, eyedrops to be used four times a day for 2 weeks and a gauze patch, which I was to soak in warm water and clean any discharge from my eye which may have accumulated overnight. I was also told to make an appointment with my optician in 4 weeks time, but I think I will be wasting his or her time. Overall, a hassle free experience from the time I walked into the front door, until the time I walked back out of it. My compliments to every member of staff from the receptionist to the surgeon. 5 stars all round.

This visit was beyond criticism. For a start, all communications were handled with friendly efficiency in very well designed, clean surroundings; the staff were relaxed and as far as I am concerned everything went as well as expected and the result was a very happy patient. Many thanks to everyone concerned.

A very professional service offered by all at the practice. Made to feel very welcome and was very well informed throughout the pre op meeting and the actual day of the operation. The only negative was that the receptionists job was to get verbal feedback from me in the public waiting room immediately after my discharge from the surgery. I politely suggested I might want to do that later but she was very insistent. Not good given that my discharge pack had all the contact details to make this review in my own time.

I had my second cataract operation which once again was very successful. All staff were fantastic and treatment was First Class. My thanks and regards to all concerned.
